Art Books--Wholistic Beauty in Book Design

Okay! Time for me to stir the waters a bit here. We've talked some about specific favorites, but how about a theme for the next week or two:

Art Books:

They may be a gimmick, but they give you a thrill--
uneven, crinkle-edged paper, or internal designs that show attention to detail...

TALE OF DESPAURAUX!!!!!
(I know that's not how it's spelled, but I fail at french)
Something about the uneven pages and clean binding of the hardcover always gets to me.
And the book was really good.
BUT THEN THERE WAS THAT MOVIE.
$%%%$#@@@$^&!!! THAT MOVIE.
IT WAS RUINED.
I MOURN FOR DESPARAUX, HAVING TO PUT UP WITH BEING PORTRAYED SO STUPIDLY.
I'll post soon, I promise!!!!
