So. LJ hasn't counted a single comment I've made since like. Tuesday. But I'm pretty sure Uriel would be over a thousand by now if LJ were working properly.

THEREFORE. First impressions/relationship/ask me stuff meme for Uriel and Itachi.

Okay so. Itachi has very deep, very complicated feelings for Raphael, and he doesn't really know how to deal with them or what to do with them at this point. He doesn't even really understand them. He feels like he's been getting mixed signals from Raph since January and he no longer knows what Raph wants or needs from him, or if Raph wants or needs him at all.

He is actually fairly certain that, overall, Raph doesn't need him. Itachi is a ninja. He was raised to be a weapon and a tool and as such he likes to feel useful and necessary. When Raph needs him for something he really likes it because his respect and admiration for Raph are as such that he wants to be able to offer him something (that and there's the fact Itachi is drawn to needy types :\a). And it's almost like a professional-type loyalty that he has for him because his younger self wasn't entirely wrong about Itachi viewing the whole Itachi/Raph/Raikou thing as a team dynamic. It's a subconscious thing, but it's there. He loves them both and wants to work with them and ( ... )

So basically! All this means Raph is kind of in a unique position compared to Itachi's other relationships. In his other relationships things are more or less equal. In his relationship with Raph, it's Raphael who has more power. I don't know if he's aware of this? Or if he feels the same way about the power dynamics in their relationship. But it's true in Itachi's mind, or at least in his subconscious. Raphael is one of the only people who can really insult Itachi and hurt him. Which is why Itachi gets his hackles up sometimes and is kind of a dick when Raph does something thoughtless or seems condescending and/or indifferent. Other times he sort of resigns himself to it, and tries to ignore it because arguing doesn't seem worth it. It depends a lot on Itachi's mood and the level of hurt inflicted ( ... )

Itachi > Mika Uriel > Mika Uriel > Momiji

Itachi --> Mika

I don't know that his opinion of Mika has changed much since the last time I talked about it. He likes him quite a bit and now he is grateful Mika gave Neji a place to stay for awhile, and would kind of like to thank him but figures it might be awkward at this point. He still kind of wants to spar with him, though. :|a

Uriel --> MikaMika often makes Uriel facepalm, but at the same time he's pretty comfortable with him. Much more comfortable with him than with Raphael, probably because Mika was always accepting of him. And even though the things Mika liked about Uriel were things Uriel didn't like about himself, it was still nice to be accepted, so he learned to be comfortable with him. And that hasn't really changed ( ... )

Uriel's impressions of... well, he's met all of mine now, hasn't he? XD Any of them that he had enough of an impression of to warrant a response, I guess.

I've talked to you about Uriel and Hatter before so I'll skip to the others. XD

Uriel found both Neji and Ino to be a couple of the less baffling humans in camp. Ino seemed very nice and like she honestly wanted to help, which Uriel appreciated. Ion...he didn't have too big and impression of except he was kind of an unusual ping and he sympathized a lot with his attitude toward camp. It's a very strange place >:

I was going to say that Ion and Uriel should talk again. Their one thread did not go as far as I would have liked--but, seriously, Uriel should talk to all of them again.

And Itachi should talk to some of them again. SO.

...

I guess they can both have a little break from Hatter for a while. If you want. >.>

They should! I meant to mention that they should thread again.

I never mind Hatter trolling, though. |D

Relationship for Rayne and/or Sara?

Reply

judgenotlest March 21 2010, 07:44:03 UTC
Uriel likes Rayne a lot! He finds it pretty easy to be around her. She's certainly the easiest non-canonmate for him to talk to at this point, and he generally finds her very sympathetic. The thing about the date was kind of embarrassing and awkward, but Rayne was calm and understanding about it and that kept him from like. Flipping out or something. So it didn't really cause any lasting anxiety or anything.

Uriel is fond of her both because she's Gabriel's reincarnation and because she's Mudou Sara. Her getting stuck in Doll's body was a bit awkward, but she was pretty understanding about it once he put her face back on. And she's been helpful with his getting settled into camp. Though, now he feels kind of bad because he mentioned to Michael that Sara told him about the whole thing where he got his wings ripped off and now Mika is angry at her. :\

First impressions from either of them, if you've got them?

Uriel would have more of an opinion if he knew who Tyki was, because lol Michael. And he'd probably be kind of wary of him. As it stands, though, he didn't ping Uriel as hard as he might normally since he was a panther at the time, and he never really introduced himself. :>

Itachi kind of appreciated Tyki's dry sense of humor, but sort of felt like if he was so bored and disinterested as a panther he should probably do something about it rather than expecting the messhall to be entertaining. Camp could have turned him into something a lot worse than a panther. :x
