I was going to do a picspam/review but then decided to do them seperately since I figured you all would want to enjoy the pretty without my ramblings. Any way under the cut since this will be chock full of spoilers.

I know they'll get there. I like you think they will have a stronger bond.
And let me tell you, I have seen the proof of that on my own flist.I've read some meta and yeah they don't seem bothered by it I guess I kind of resent like you said a generic label being placed on fandom and I think the *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* thing got old fast. It was funny the first time around but not so much, at least for, this time ( ... )

My grandfather was a Presbyterian minister, and while I think I have a pretty fluid attitude toward religion as a whole, there are certain core concepts I'm just not comfortable messing with. Angels who were "dicks," and a God who seemed to have turned his back on humanity, were just too WRONG for me to accept. So I found myself fighting with the episodes as I watched them, and actually getting upset.
I was so surprised to find myself taking it all so seriously, and personally. I mean, it's a TV show! And Kripke doesn't have an agenda; he isn't trying to do anything more than tell a good story. I could accept the demons, spirits, werewolves, and vampires on the show as pure fantasy, no problem, so why the big fuss over the angels? Obviously I had some unresolved issues with my own personal belief system that I needed to explore. And ironically, it was Supernatural that led me to do exactly that, leaving me free to enjoy the show for what it was once more.
