The leaves are really glorious this year. There was a particularly nice morning when the trees around the lake were reflecting back up.

Aaron came over and we played Memoir '44. I'd like to play through every battle and then try our hands at some Battelore. Those games haven't seen enough play and they are too damned splendid not to take out more often.

Reading: Everything in my Currently Reading shelf went out the window and Steel Remains by Richard K. Morgan arrived in the mail from England. My awesome cousin, Jocelyn sent it over, as it won't be out here until '09. It grabbed me from the first paragraph and hasn't let go.

I am just too beat to head out right now and would like to get some game prep done for tonight and start outline a creative endeavor. Reading: I finished Spaceman Blues and found it pretty disappointing but now I am on to Red Seas Under Red Skies, the second of the Gentlemen Bastards books, leaving off where Lock Lamora left off. These books are delightful fun. They read like an awesome urban Burning Wheel campaign.
