Shaky camera syndrome often hits directors when they take their directing cues from music videos and they get excited about a scene in the movie they direct. Aww man! That's no good! Being boring is the worst sin of a horror film, as far as I'm concerned.

Still, I'll have to go and see it anyway next week ...

Man, i have heard a wide array of opinions about this movie. From people whose opinions i trust on movies. The comments i've heard range from great and better than the original to it being a suck fest. And everything in between.

It's tearing this country apart!! Okay, maybe not. But i can't get a feel for this movie. I'm definitely going to see it myself. It is the only way to be sure.

My friends and I *loved* it. Sure, we all hated the two kids, but I liked a lot of the supporting characters: The doctor, the soldier, the skinny gawky guy, the helicopter pilot, etc ( ... )
