This is a great chapter, finally, they get a chance to talk. I just wish Katra could tell Ash everything, I mean, why hide? He's bound to find out sooner or later. I have a few concerns on this chapter. Did Katra really erased Cassandra's memories of her? and other thing, I remember back in DSOTM when Nick bit Stryker and Stryker had said something about the Dark Hunters being banned from drinking blood because they were able to drain emotions and powers from others. If Ash is now drinking Katra's blood, don't you think that Ash should know who and what Katra is? He tasted her blood so he can feel her emotions and hear her thoughts. Anyways great chapter!!! I just sucks that its going to end in just 2 more chapters. I just hope it has a climatic ending you know, Artemis finds out about Ash and Kat kind of ending. Something we'll remember. well sherri never told us why katra has to keep herself a secret, & i never planned on making that up because i doubt it would be as monumental & as shocking as sherri would make it. acheron will no doubt find out sooner or later, but he won't find out in this fic ^^;;;
yes, DH's are banned from drinking blood, however, katra is different. remember in kiss of the night she had the ability to mask her presence. so if acheron couldn't even feel her presence, then i'm assuming, for the sake of this fic, she can also hide apart of herself from him. she does work for apollymi, & i'm sure apollymi gave katra some extra powers.
in the dh books, we never know for sure whether or not katra erased cass' memories, but I assume she would have to. her existence is only known to a select few. if cass were able to retain her memories, wouldn't wulf find it funny he doesn't remember the events in kiss of the night in the same way? i think katra had to erase their
