Royal pain in the ass!

Dear Royal Mail,

What is the point of rearranging delivery time for today when your delivery man cannot be arsed to knock, shove another card in and assumed no one is in ? I appreciate this is the busiest time of the year, but I was in and stayed in especially for redelivery! *annoyed at the waste of time*

No wonder Royal Mail is going under, you ( Read more... )

We got a card through saying we had missed a parcel but they would come back that evening between 6 and 9pm. We waited in instead of going shopping but they did not turn up, we ended up picking up our parcel instead, and having to change our plans for no good reason which annoyed me no end.

That said, they are massively busy this time of year and many temp workers are around,- we have a designated safe place but the temp postie put our parcel in the bin and left a note to tell us, unfortuatly it fell the wrong way so we nearly didn't see the card!

Our usual postie is fab however and does make sure on his days off the rest of the year, other posties know about the safe place.

Yeah, it is annoying when they don't turn up and I do appreciate they are busy (understaffed and all!) but since I have arranged for a redelivery, I would not have gone out so a firm knock and a short wait is not too much to ask for. :(

Ah well, never mind. As long as my packets are in the depot to be picked up on Sat by a friend, I will forgive them. It does mean poor Evie won't get her X'mas pressie till after X'mas. Was planning to drop by theirs today after package got redelivered to pass it to them. Bum.

I like it when we have nice posties! Unfortuntately ours get different routes every so often so the new ones can sometimes be not so good.

Have a lovely Crimbo!! *HUGS* Was very glad to have met up with you 2 fridays ago! Hope you both recover from lurg soon!
