When we lived in Mississippi, bugs were everywhere (blech!). Mom started keeping EVERYthing in plastic containers like Tupperware - cereal, crackers, spaghetti, everything. I still do that a lot, which came in handy during the great Fly Infestation earlier this summer (eww).

I would have been totally flipping out! The thought of any kind of crawly thing in my food has my stomach turning.

Jt It may not have come from your house. I worked in a grocery store for 5 years and you wouldn't believe the creatures that lurked behind the pretty walls to the back warehouse. We had worms crawling out of a bulk bin of blanched almonds. It was gross and it was also shipped from india. There was also the bag of raisins crawling with some kind of worms... also from india if I remember correctly.
Man, i feel sorry for you- being prego is not a good time to find stuff in your food.
