That's quite a story, Jim. I had a landing very much like that in Chicago once, in a big plane though and it just around the perimeter of a thunderstorm. But it was one of those I really remember. I recall on my way out telling the guys in the cockpit how much ass they just kicked and getting a nervous smile and "thank you" back from them.

All of these guys deserve WAY more credit than they get. Other than the obvious recognition and kudos that Mr. Sullenberger deserves, I hope it also helps to shed more light and recognition on all these people who - several times a day - do what we would have seen as magic and impossible just a century ago. Good post.
