This morning I went to the gynecologist because I've been having heavy periods with horrific cramps pretty much my whole life. I had seen him before and he had said that if I take a birth control pill with longer active pills and less inactive pills (24 on and 4 off, rather than 21 on and 7 off) that my period would lighten and shorten.
