Oh man, I've been so remiss on this LJ. I'm sorry. I wonder if there's something that would feed my Facebook statuses and notes to LJ... There is for Twitter, after all. Anyhoo ( Read more... )

I know its a long ways off, but I really don't think I'm going to be working much if at all this coming fall. If anything, I would work from 2-5 everyday, so I could take Shai in the mornings if you need someone to watch him.

I wish I knew anything about potty training, it sounds really frustrating. :(

We should discuss, definitely. I'm trying to figure what the best schedule for me would be. And how much I can afford. Heh. We'll know more in a month or two, finance-wise, and then we'll have to see if my mom can work with the school on a tuition reduction or something. It's all kind of hazy, but I'm worried, because for now, I HAVE to work at least a few hours a day, and working after bedtime is killing me.

Also, we should do coffee again. Definitely, definitely coffee.

Have you tried letting Niv pee like daddy? That won my son over. He did make a bit of a mess for a while but not having to buy as many diapers made it worth it : )

The thing is, he seems to simply refuse to pee when he's not wearing a diaper - doesn't matter where. He'll hold on and hold on until you put the diaper on, and then he lets go. It's very strange. I guess it's worth a try. He's too big for those potty seats anyway. If he peed sitting, it'd be all over the floor anyway!!

Oh thank God, this post makes me feel SO much better about our potty training situation. Madison is an October 2006 baby as well and STILL in diapers. She tells me she has to poop and then hides under the table! ACK! I get so frustrated. If she knows she has to go, why not on the potty, ya know?! We tried giving her treats everytime she does go, but now she only goes when she wants a new toy. Opps, that was an epic fail! Well, this was a book, but my main point is, don't feel so bad, we're on the same boat!

Shai sounds like he's super hungry all night long. Not that I know anything about being a mom from experience, but your situation reminded me of this: http://www.lazyorganizer.com/blog/?p=853

I know I'm a bit late. Just catching up on livejournal -- I've been absent too.
