Aw, good job, Harry. :)

Very nice story, jtav. I like how Ginny holds it all in and her grief comes crashing down all of a sudden, and over getting the flowers. She can withstand talking about Fred, but the fact that she can't do this small thing for him unlocks all her bottled up grief.

The voice in his head returned, except this time it sounded like Dumbledore. We must all make the choice between what is right and what is easy. He had always thought that to apply to the big questions. [...] He had never imagined applying the statement to his love life.

Excellent. Insightful, and another good mark of Harry growing up. We do hard things for the sake of the people we love.

Thank your for the lovely review. What you described is exactly what I was going for with Ginny's grief.

This is wonderful. :) I think you did a great job on Harry's observations and emotions. He would feel awkward in that situation, not sure what to say to his crying girlfriend, when holding her was all she needed. Very sweet.

Thank you for the review. Harry is absolutely thick when it comes to girls, isn't he?

Definitely! He and Ron both are, and that's part of what makes them adorable.

That was a wonderful one shot.

Poor Ginny! She was trying so hard and when she couldn't get Fred his flowers, she finally broke down.

And, poor Harry! LOL. He had no idea what to do, but sometimes we can't think about what we'd do, we just go and do what feels right.

Thank you. Poor Ginny indeed. Sometimes it's the smallest things that make us break down.

Good story in showing Ginny's grief and how a little thing can set her off. Though it also sounds like Mrs. Weasley is also remembering what happened the last time Harry defeated Voldemort and she doesn't want that to happen to any of her children or for them to die.

Thanks. As for Mrs. Weasley, I think it's more residual cautiousness and grief than anything. It's only natural that she'd be overprotective of her surviving children after being in constant danger for a year and losing Fred.

Wonderful story.

Ginny just feels like she has to hold everything in to be the backbone for the family. Glad that Harry was there to help her, even if it was a bit delayed.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Ginny is Harry's best source of comfort, but it has to go both ways for the relationship to be truly successful.
