JFC. What a waste of time and money. I called up to make an appointment with my psych, and the receptionist is already on the phone with someone. Can I hold? Yeah, sure, why not. 20 Minutes later I'm still holding. I hang up and call back from the home phone now that I'm home. Explain the situation. Dude, I totally hang up after like, THREE MINUTES. I have no idea where you got the patience for 20!

That is obnoxious and infuriating. I hate it when doctors offices do that! D:

I am usually a VERY patient person. Honestly, it never really bothers me. But when it's now HOURS later and they still haven't even called me back, it makes me wonder about the incompetence of that office. Seriously, they knew I just wanted to make an appointment. They can't take 30 seconds out to call me back?

I better be calm on the day I go in there, otherwise I will CON DAR THOSE BITCHES.

Write a letter to your shrink, stating what happened, including your wanting to make an appointment directly with him/her! I expect the shrink will "have words" with the office people.
