So this afternoon I have yet another meeting with management.. This time I guess they will be offering me the Coach K lifetime contract. They are like that really clingy girlfriend that just doesn't get it.. it's over... please move on.

yes I do... stock options, annual bonuses, awesome management...

Now I just need my current job to just let me go already. They just asked me to wait yet another day so they can put together some sort of offer, or development plan for me... I told them my decision has been made and it would be basically impossible to chance it, but I will still hear them out.. eh.... Then they asked to push my start date back till after the first of the year... seriously... it's over... just let me go.

The first of the year?! Have they lost their minds?!!! Congrats on the new job and I hope it's one you actually ENJOY ;)

Whatever. I decided Dec 8th is set in stone. I will do whatever I can for them up until then, but I'm starting on the 8th. I had wanted to take a couple days off before that to relax a bit before the new job, but I am sacrificing that at this point, so that's all I am really willing to do for them.

I think I will enjoy it much much more than the one I have now. Plus... the stock options could be very nice in a few years. The guys that started it are the same guys that started Nectar, which sold for like $150 a share when they all cashed out. That puts my stock options well over a million... Thats basically best possible outcome, but still...
