Transplant Day 21 (3 weeks!)

 Today is my 3 week anniversary of my kidney transplant! It’s hard to believe how much better I feel than compared to the morning of the surgery when I was at dialysis.
I had a good day yesterday. The arm pain for the past 24 hours is practically non-existant.  I did have diarrhea again today, and took 2 Imodium; I hope to soon get that under ( Read more... )

Um yeah...organ meats=NO!!, chocolate milk=YES! :)

If I may ask...in what ways specifically do you feel better now? I guess I always think I feel (mostly) pretty good now, but I wonder if that's just because I don't know how good I *could* feel?

I have more energy (despite a hemoglobin that's the lowest ever; 9.7. Also, my thinking is no longer clouded (didn't realize it WAS clouded until after the transplant), I'm no longer on edge wondering when the transplant will happen, and overall, I just feel better; I can't explain it very well.
