Hmm....well, if you've never been to Singapore before, here are some of the usual suspects for first-time visitors. For nature: the Botanic Gardens; the Singapore Zoo; the Bird Park; the Underwater World (a walk-through aquarium on Sentosa island). If you are interested in pre-industrial Singapore, you could visit Pulau Ubin island (http://www.wildsingapore.com/ubin/). There are good views of Singapore and its business district from the relatively-new Singapore Flyer (a big ferris wheel). If you like history and art, the National Museum and Singapore Art Museum are well worth a visit. For culture and heritage, you can walk around Chinatown (if you want to buy fabric, try the People's Park Centre) and Little India; the Arab Street area has the oldest mosque in Singapore and has a nice ambience.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you are interested in anything specific. :)
