Dear, though the night is gone, Its dream still haunts today

This is based on story and characters from Mary Renault's novel The Charioteer. The characters belong to her and I make no profit from them. The quotes in the work are from The Phaedrus of Plato. It is rated G.

This makes me ache for poor Laurie. Even though he truly loves Ralph, he did love Andrew, too. The guilt of not being honest with Andrew before he died is heavy, and he cannot, rightly so, talk to Ralph about it. *sniffs*

But I think Laurie's choice with the book was the best thing he could do for both Andrew's memory and for his healing to start.

I was so moved by this story. It made me feel for Laurie in the same way I did while reading the book. Great job! It does seem right that he should do this on he's own and in he's on way. Thanx for this.
