Awwwww.... I'm sorry your baby is growing up so fast. On the bright side -- he is going to be such a fun and interesting kid that I can hardly wait to get to know him! Pretty soon he will be the one making dinner ;)
Ok Hon' as much as I feel your pain, I'm so sad and angry for you right now. I'm so sorry that you feel that you have to modify your bedtime routine so much that it makes both Q and yourself somewhat miserable. What really cause decay in teeth is sugar (and left over food in the mouth). As long as you give Q a bottle of water, you're fine. As for nursing, nurse as long as you want and the way you want! However, a gentle teeth brushing right before bed may be a good idea. Wanna try that instead? Nurse as usual and add the brushing. This is such a sensitive topic for me and it's getting harder as our little ones grow and grow and grow. Every day that she nurses is like a small victory. It's one more day I can have my baby with me. I'm terrified of the day she'll say no and it will be over.
Good luck with the house duties. We are so in the same boat! Most of the time, i forget to eat because I didn't have time/was too tired to cook *hugs*
No, no need for anger, I'd been trying to figure out how to do for weaning anyway. That doesn't mean it's easy, but it's the right thing for us right now. And I'm happy to note that he was absolutely fine with the new routine the next night. Thank goodness.
