Why do I suddenly have the feeling that Neal is using that sketchbook to draw some sort of 'what if would have been like if Peter had raised me' series of comics? Or that this is going to veer off into 'Neal finds a magic wishing bean and de-ages himself so Peter and El can raise him for 'real'' territory? Very interested to see what's coming next!

Lol! I promise no magic wishing bean--though that would be kinda fun.

I was thinking that, just as Peter suspected, Neal wants to re-imagine his childhood. And, as an afterthought, maybe he wants some insights on how to raise kids of his own someday--if he can get past the idea that Kate is the one and only.
