I posted this in my journal, but I'm really curious to find out if anyone else besides myself and my best friend has noticed these things and get their opinions on it.

( Rant-esque observations about the changes in Kra )

Kra used to be Kra and now they're turning into a cookie cutter band like the rest of the PSC bands. Don't get me wrong I love pretty much all of the PSC fags but Kra was something different, and I'm really WTFing especially about Yasunos hair.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one either. It's been bothering (hmm... is that the right word? Maybe bugging... ) me for a while now, but this latest PV just really was the last I could take without saying something ( ... )

Oh god exactly if they want Kra to change they need to have a good talk with the walking, talking PCP tablet(does PCP even come in tablet form?) miyavi before they can ever say anything to Kra. But I dogress.

I'm with you 100%, it's one thing for a band to grow and change take SID for example who just went major that was their choice but Kra, it seems like it's being forced upon them. I really do feel bad ofr them too, they had something different to bring to the table now the clear distinction between them and the other bands is slowly fading.

There are only a few songs I really love from Kra but I 100% love their infectious energy, and it seems like that's sort of died. I'm really sad :|

I also remember seeing Kagrra the first time WITHOUT their traditional garb...and I was like..."Is this the right band? What the fuck happened?!"
Nevertheless I was happy to see that Utakata pretty much maintained the feel of Kagrra, but I'm not so sure about their latest stuff...maybe I just need to listen again. :|

PS Company. Mystery solved. They take any band and try to make them.. "more marketable". Which is why I don't like the label much. I hope Kra runs for the hills and finds a label that'll let them be themselves.

And Yasuno without pink hair? As someone who's not a fan of Kra, hasn't he had it pink a really long time? Everytime I see Kra, I know it's them because of him and his pink hair. :/

It's really disappointing to me and honestly I kinda hope they look to another label, too.

Oh yeah. Yasuno had pink hair for like 10+ years before PSC told him to change it. That's part of why that bothers me as much as it does. It isn't as though it was something he did on a whim just because. It was something he'd done for years and years because he loved doing it. He even took nighttime stock jobs when he had to rather than getting rid of his pink hair. That's serious commitment. I guess that doesn't mean anything. -_-

Not really much I can do about it, though, except continue to support them and hope they can break free at some point.
