More LOST filler.

It was filler with the promise of more filler!

I'm not minding it myself, but that's because I somewhat enjoy the eccentric time travelling professor character, and Desmond. I think the filler comes down to if I enjoy the characters or not. I don't care what happens to Claire, really. Or Kate.

I guess I'm just a misogynist. But an indifferent misogynist - I don't hate the women, I just don't care enough.

I don't think it's because you're a misogynist. (indifferent or not)

I just don't think those stories are terribly engaging OR revealing. There's really not much going on.

At least with the Desmond/Faraday episode, there were new mysteries to the island and things were being explored. I'd really like them to explore the perception of time sort of thing Faraday mentioned. So, it was MOSTLY filler... but not entirely.

As for Claire... she's just annoying. Ever since season 2... complete dislike for her character.

I enjoyed the time thing, too. I don't think they have any choice but to explore it. The fact that Desmond can be Faraday's constant but not vice versa makes me question things. I think we've got some Back to the Future time branchings going on. Or maybe a Star Trek: TNG episode. Hard to tell this early on.

And for some reason I'm getting a Schrodinger's cat feeling - but that's probably just because I don't understand what's going on in either case.
