As Rememberance Day quickly approaches, I am posting this to encourage you to sign an online petition calling on the Prime Minister of Canada to offer a State Funeral to the family of the last veteran of the First World War resident in Canada. Only three Canadian veterans of the First World War remain. They are 106 and 105 years of age

I can't imagine being part of a war, let alone WWI, and then living (and thinking) about it until I was over 100.

Also QC seems way less serious about Rememberance Day than the rest of Canada.
