For those who know him, Ben Horner arrived safely in France and made it to his hotel unscathed. We spent the day wandering around with my roomie Silje, showing him things in the town he is living in. So... what have I been up to? My mom was here from April 16-30 and, at the end of our trip, we explored London and Paris, both briefly. Then I came back to Monaco for one day and back off again to the UK to see Philippe in Bristol. Was nice to play live-in girlfriend for a few days. I spent my afternoon today on the beach in Monaco, basking in the sun. It was about 75 degrees, beautiful bright blue sky, lovely turquoise water and lots of ice cream (per Silje's request to be included in my entry). OK, not really new. Philippe and I went out together for the first time last night, even though we have been talking quite regularly for the past year. It's kind of raining/snowing/something outside and very nasty. Maybe the nice weather has finally gone for a few months, though it will probably be sunny and warm again in a few days. Well, I've moved apartments finally and am now within walking distance of school (even though it's on the other side of the country!). I also have the best roommate ever.
