Idiocy like this is what keeps fools like Bush in office. If I didn't have to live in the same country with this guy I'd say let him have his way and what he gets he deserves.

Of course, he does have a point about our hard-earned tax money being given to the "lazy folks" at Halliburton, et al, making a costly war even more expensive -- that is what he meant, right?

Well, I also like the point about having plenty of oil if we weren't too busy paying lazy people not to work. After all, economic pressure would never open oil fields big enough to compete with the Russians and Saudis and Venezuelans if the darn liberals didn't want it to. Because clearly if we'd drilled in ANWAR and the Gulf Coast of Florida 20 years ago it would have prevented all our current problems. Must be a liberal conspiracy.
