Thanks for this! I've forwarded the link to friends in New York, in case they hadn't seen it yet.

I'm completely failing to imagine how dismaying life must be in Sandy's wake, even for people who have nothing worse but a power outage or transportation disruption. It's going to take so long to get back to "normal" that "normal" will be something completely different than it was.

Found the problem. Didn't realize the original URL led to a .PDF. Firefox is set to download those instead of opening the page. So, I had multiple copies of the .PDF file in my Downloads folder. :-(
