Should be interesting to watch how this plays out; my Canadian readers are welcome to pitch in their ten cents on all this, as I don’t follow Canadian politics closely.
Unless the opposition parties form a coalition, the post-election political landscape is liable to look just like the pre-election political landscape: Harper with a minority government and a lot of resentful people. Where's the volatile Canada of yesteryear?
I lived in Canada for 14 years, under the reign of "Lyin'" Brian Mulroney. The Chin that walked like a man. I didn't think they'd ever let another Tory in office after that idiot, but, I over-estimated the intelligence of the Canadian voter.
