Yes, I'm a WATCHMEN fan from waaaaaaay back, and yes, I want to see that movie a lot, but I highly doubt anyone in the household will. So this is my *how about it* to the local Chicago geekery assembled; drop me a line if you could use a extra large ursinoid critter (me) with you for your outing.

I'm in a similar boat. The girls have little interest.. or I should say D doesn't have much interest but SF does, but tis not a film for 12 year olds.

Add to that we're off to Indy for a con Friday afternoon I can't join the locals for a gang showing. So a couple of us are doing the 12:01 showing.

waaaah, I wanna go. You have heard about the super long directors cut too? Kinda like LOTR for the fans of the books, let the neophytes cut their teeth on the film, read the book then see the long one.
I also want to talk to you about doing a panel at Duckon...
