Hmmm. If my map looked like your visited states map, I would be tempted to plan a vacation to AZ. :) Hawaii would wait until the economy was a bit better.
What I find most interesting is the places Mere does *not* want to go to.
If the political climate improves over there, Burma aka Myanmar has some truly beautiful sights. A few years ago, my mother-in-law visited her sister, who teaches English there. We've seen the photos. Aside from the beautiful temples, the thing I remember from the photos was the poinsettia trees. Yes, *trees*.
No particular reason why. I personally don't remember a lot of the western stuff, which was done in two big trips - one in 1961 and the other in 1971. Since then, I've been to Seattle and Vegas for work, and to California in 2000 as mentioned. We love travel, it's been more time and money, especially since we discovered the whole twin thing. That sucks up both time AND money with the girls.
