Boo at the Zoo and Other Fun Things

I helped out at Boo at the Zoo Friday and Sunday night. It was fun but a bit overwhelming in terms of the number of people and how snotty some kids got about what/how much candy we gave them. I'm glad I wore my renfaire outfit Friday because I was at a much quieter station than Sunday and did not need to bend and lift and carry as much to refill

I couldn't get to Boo At The Zoo. We tried going and sat in traffic from 2 to almost 3 waiting to get in. They had an idiot directing the traffic. :(

That sucks. I know people coming for Boo up here had to deal with rush hour metro crowds. That had to be extra awkward with some of the costumes.

Do it! Zombie-policeman-drag queens are never as common a costume as you think they'd be.

It was faaaaaabulous. Those ladies can haul ass in 5 inch platform heels. Jem and the Holograms were there with blow-up instruments!
