I always wished I was athletic enough to do a lot of hiking, but unfortunately I am the worlds biggest wimp. So, go you!

And I totally support your idea about getting out of Michigan. Have you thought about being a nurse for like the Red Cross or Peace Corps? I could totally see you doing something like that.
