yes you're right, I'm an Otsuka Yuya fan :D
well there's not much news about him recently, but he participated in the Marching J Event in March and he will appear in the SMAPxSMAP 100 Juniors Special that is yet to be broadcasted, his picture was in the report of 2012.06 Wink Up! So we can say for sure that he hasn't quit the agency, even though he's not backdancing that much at the moment... maybe he's busy with school, he should be in his final year of middle school now?

yes, apparently he has... on the last day of Takizawa Kabuki (may 6th) he said “I want to shine like the sunset in Takizawa Kabuki FOR THE LAST TIME, Otsuka Yuya” and a fellow Junior said: “Otsuka-kun, good job on your Johnnys acitvities until now! Kaneda Yosei”. That's the last thing we ever heard of him. His profile has disappeared from Takkichannel as well ;_;
