This weekend was ideal.  Whether my time was spent working in the yard, riding around in Doob's truck, or just kicking back on the deck, it was great to be outside without needing an extra layer or two of clothing.  Perfect weather for outdoor projects.

For the longest time I have been wanting to custom cut Plexiglas to fit over top my basement ( Read more... )

After last night's little fiasco, I thought it was impertinent I do a complete cavity search.

...and I have to admit, the night ended a little awkward for everyone involved.

Are you building a diorama for your Barbies to live in? What's with the mini tire swing?

I've always wanted a tire swing in the yard, but I've been afraid if I hang a full size tire in one of my trees, neighborhood children will think it's OK to come over.... and, it's not.

Originally it was a photo prop... I just never took it down.

How else are you going to lure young boys into your den of iniquity?

nice!
hope those hinges don't rust, though.

and it's really weird seeing an actual hose. it's so funny that something everyone's house had growing up, i haven't seen anywhere here.

I'm sure the hinges will corrode a bit, but that's inevitable. The ones on my 10 year old shed still look pretty good, so hopefully these will last just as long, if not longer.

And why don't people have garden hoses where you live? Is it just because you live in the city, or just one more fucked up thing about you Canadians no one can explain?

i think it's a city thing. since most places are apartment buildings and not houses. i'll have to ask my friend who lives out in Dorion if she has a hose. :)

Those Barbies are getting the winter blahs out of their system, I see.
