Hi!
I have a question.
How do you store your paper journals? Do you make some protection? Against pests or whatever?
Thanks for answers.

I want to add more to your post, because I have heard some Moleskines shed some oil and bad scent after a while. Has this happened to any of you??

Usually I keep my journals on the move, or store them in boxes in the rooms most used.

Hi. I have no experiences with oil shedding, but with that scent (you mean smell, do you?) - I think all of the old books (and journals of course) are "smelling" after some time, so do you mean some... "special smell"? Not that "old books" smell?

I have mine in box, but I'm afraid it's not enough against some eventual pests or something like that.
Thanks for answers anyway :)

You can get those plastic / laminate sleeves that protect comic books, graphic novels, photographs and newspapers from dust, humidity, and oils - maybe it's worth looking for your local comic book dealer online to see where they get book protectors from??

Maybe even ask at your local library about how they package up old books? That is, if you want to cover them separately! Otherwise, an airtight plastic box is great :)

Oh, yes! Maybe that "vacuum plastic boxes" would be good, I'm reading in the old ones only from time to time when I get "that mood" ^^
And - to ask at library of course is also very good idea!
Thanks a lot!
