Inside jokes (if they care to share them), things in common, how they met, details of their weddings, hardships they went through (should they liked them to be included), the story of how they got engaged, deciding to have a family, their first car, their first house..

Also, just a suggestion but Michaels has a whole section on wedding stuff for scrapbooking that might be great in this kind of book.

Good luck be sure it post it when you start making it!

Maybe you could use a couple of pages for each year that they've been married. Does that make sense? Like for each year they've been married, use a couple of pages for things that happened that were really important? You'd obviously have to ask your mom about important things for each year.

Also, what everyone else said is a good idea too.

yeah that's a tough one. Mainly b/c it's difficult to get genuinely sentimental about your parents' love life. my first rxn was to tell you to put ur self in their shoes when they were in love try to recreate their romance. but then i imagined doing that for my parents and nearly vomited. but maybe thats just me.
