Words with Meaning

Hi, guys! Geof here.

So I finally got around to working on an art journal, and I'm filling a nice, large journal at the moment. (I think it's like, 12''x8''? I dunno, it's a guesstimate.) I have a lot of decent magazine clippings, but here's the problem: I can't seem to find the right quotes/lyrics/etc. to post onto the pages to go alongside them.

i don't usually use lyrics. i use little snippets of things i've been thinking lately, things like "it's important to be happy" and "it's all good" and "why am i so dumb". on themeish pages i write what i associate with the subject, the first thing that pops into my head, like "brown bear brown bear what do you see" (on a page with a brown bear) and "the sea is a harsh mistress" (on a page with a sailboat).

however, i did use the lyrics from this song/movie because i was really (REALLY) digging it. it's also from "a midsummer night's dream" which is like, double the pleasure double the fun. plus it's personally relevant, because it fits in with my informal theme of reminders-not-to-be-afraid/negative ("and i will sing that they shall hear i am not afraid")

(i also have charles baudelaire's "causerie" because i like it)

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
