So I had a minor hissy fit last night when I realized every single pen I picked up DIED after a few words of writing.
As it was 3 am, I had to settle for scratching my way through a page or two and then leaving it at that...
I need new pens.

So, fellow journalers, what type of pens do you live and die for?

I hate that the most when you're in the
middle of a class and you go through
like 17 pens in the middle of taking
notes and your teacher then asks you a
question about something she just said
& you say, "ummmm... idk.." and she says,
"LOOK IN YOUR NOTES!" EXCEPT YOU JUST
MISSED ALL THE NOTES BECAUSE YOU WERE
LOOKING FOR A FUCKING PEN ! gahhhhh !

anyways, I live and die for bic pens with the grip thingg :] ♥

The cheap kind, bought in bulk, medium tip.
For some reason, those seem to last me the longest... I always lose them before they run out.

Also, I love every unwanted pen I find on the ground... They always seem the loneliest, so I give them a home til they get lost again

- Berol Fineliners! Not posh, I'm afraid, they remind me of primary school, but I love them and they work like a dream.

In primary school, I had that pen and everyone else had this one:

Hahaha! Yes, I had those, too, but they have bad associations for me because my teacher forced me to write in joined-up handwriting with them, otherwise I had to use pencil :( Life was tough.

We weren't allowed to write in anything except pencil until about Year 5, so after I got over my initial suspicion of WHAT IS THIS STRANGE POWER WHICH CANNOT BE RUBBED OUT?, I was way too over-excited by the prospect of writing in pens. My primary teachers probably have a lot to answer for!

We had to write joined-up too! I only found the courage to write with letters that a) DID NOT TOUCH EACH OTHER! and b) DID NOT HAVE PERFECT LEAD-IN STROKES! a couple of years ago. This is tragic yet true!
