Myojo 2011.11 Sexy Boy

The extremely real revelation of their school life.
The new unit “Sexy Boy” that was born from Johnnys Jr.!
This month we solve the mysteries surrounding their everyday school life.
What they always take with them to school, the number of their friends, the seating plan (in the classroom), extreme maniac information is given.

Rather than sitting still in the classroom I'm the type to move my body outside. That's why I get depressed when it rain. In the breaks of sunny days I go to the sports ground with around 4 of my friends and we play basketball. When I get the ball I run holding it without dribbling (warning from the editorial department: this would be against the rules in a real game) and goal, this is the foul trick I'm doing. Then my friends would of course call “Cheat!”. And I'd get angry declaring “Right then I stop playing basketball!” → act as if I'd be going somewhere else → my friends would stop me.... We're having fun with this mini skit. I do like making people laugh.
I'm not really good with anything besides Japanese. What I like is PE. Especially floor gymnastics gets me exited. Because I get to practice acrobatics. Home economics is fun as well. A while ago I embroidered a porch with my name. But after all classes where you can go outside are the best! Next time we'll go to Shimoda in Izu (prefecture Shizuoka) to have extracurricular lessons. I have no clue what we'll be doing but I'm really looking forward to it (laughs)!

In Germany, you know, there is a hotel where kids can stay over on their own! In the summer holidays I went there with friends from school. Because there was a dance floor in the hotel I could dance in front of everyone. And then my friends were surprised saying “Marius, you're able to do such dances!”. I made friends with kids from other schools who were there as well. Now I'm jetting back and forth between Germany and Japan, but when things have calmed down I want to dance with everyone again ♪
The school I went to in Germany had a forest so we got to play in the midst of nature. During breaks we played tag or hide-and-seek. It was really fun because there were many places to hide! In Japanese schools there's not that much green right... I love nature so it feels a bit lonely. But I have heard that in Japan you can have a school trip to the see! In Germany I haven't had a single one to the sea so I'm happy about that (onpu) Going to the sea, swimming, diving, I want to have lots of fun!

The fun of going to school is playing soccer with one goal and one ball during the breaks. The seniors of my track and field club passed down the way of playing only on a small field to us, the number of players doesn't matter. Back then we were up to 20 people, but lately it's only around 5 or 6. Maybe it's because we didn't pass it down properly but our juniors don't really participate. I'd love to play with a big number of people again.
What is on my mind right now is the Choir Contest in October. The two classes of each grade compete against others with songs. In the first year in middle school my class lost, in the second year we won. Depending on the results of the third year it'll be decided if all in all we have either won or lost, so I'm getting all exited already. I don't want to lose...! And then during October I have to give my all at the culture festival as well. In an elective class I'm learning to play the guitar and the 3rd graders will have the opportunity to show off their skills at the culture festival. Talk about forming a band with four of my class mates came up but... we don't get to practice at all. Isn't it awful that at the moment we can't even play a single song? I really need to practice on my own everyday!

Matsushima So:
The me in school is joking around with the funny kids. You know, there are boys in my class who like to play pranks on people. Along with those kids I come up with many different pranks. For example, there is this chair you can spin around isn't there? We could manipulate this chair in a way that the moment you sit down on it it'll drop down. Or we think about how it would be fun to put the (blackboard) eraser on top of the door so it would fall down once the door is opened. If we would really do those pranks, I wonder how the person being pranked would react?
The greatest memory of my school life until now is field work! I forgot when it was but we had an event once for which we decided in groups where to go, the plan of what we'll be doing and what we'll study. My group went to see the longest wooden bridge in Japan called Houraibashi. Running across the bridge with my friends was really fun. Next year there is the school trip. Where will we be going? I want to make many memories~ ♪

When there is an excursion or a field trip or another extracurricular activity, something is bound to happen in my grade. When we went to the zoo during 1st grade there was record-setting heavy rain. The rain and thunderstorm was so extreme that we didn't get to see anything... During the excursion in 2nd grade, I forgot where we went to, but it rained that day as well. Because the weather forecast said it would be sunny no one brought umbrellas or anything so I remember how we came back all drenched. For the excursion in 3rd I'll take my rain coat with me I guess.
During breaks I'm talking with friends, I often make them laugh with one-shot gags. Like pulling a weird face saying “Because I'm a demon!”. I guess my classmates think of me as noisy. By the way, there's the sport festival in October right. I'm in soccer club but I want to play dodge-ball or soft ball. Because when you do something different once in a while your mood changes to the better ♪ While “talking about” (written in katakana english) it with my friends I'll do my best!

1. As you might have noticed I added/changed rules for sharing my translations due to certain people sharing them in certain places. Please link people to my journal or this community if you want them to read the translations I made. I won't lock them. Because yes, I do want more people to get to know those guys, but I can't guarantee that I'll be back translating the next time someone ignores those rules.

2. I won't have that much time to translate any longer so I'll post parts of articles I have translated right away. I'll edit the missing parts in later so it won't spam your friends pages. When posting the next interview I'll add a link to the previous (then complete) translation so you won't miss any parts. If you have a certain Junior whose translation you'd like to read first please tell me in a comment and I might consider translating his part before others <3

3. I feel like my English gets worse and worse with every translation I post. If there is someone having a lot of time who loves the Juniors and feels like beta-ing - I'd really appreciate it. PM me please! ♪
