2011.09 Potato Ae Shonen (Kansai Fresh Junior, p. 50)

My Point

The next appearance of those 5 Fresh Junior that appeared for the first time in the July issue! We asked them about the rehearsal that just started for “Shonen-tachi ~Koshi naki rokugo~” at the Shochiku Theater and about their aims. Check their talk about school and private life, too ! (editorial deadline was mid-july)

“Shonen-tachi ~Koshinaki rokugo~” and Show Time Short messages:

Yoshinori Iori: There were dance lessons for the shows in the Shochiku Theater. Senpai who could do back flips and back handsprings were there, it was really cool. I'll give my best to become able to do back handsprings as well!

Nagase Ren: My first summer holidays in middle school seem to get busy with the shows at Shochiku Theater and soccer club practice. I'll give everything I have so please cheer me on.

Shiramoto Shota: The fine movements while dancing are difficult, but I'm practicing them at home as well. I became able to enjoy dancing, so do come to cheer me on.

Nishihata Daigo: “When I'm practicing I want to raise the level of my dance!” is how I feel. Back flips... it seems like I don't have to do them this time. I was quiet relieved (laughs).

Masakado Yoshinori: I was really happy when it was decided that I would be appearing in the stage shows! I'll probably get nervous but I'm looking forward for them to begin. I'll give my best so please cheer me on.

Yoshino Iori

From around elementary school 2nd grade I was having dance lessons for three years. I started because when I saw Yamashita Tomohisa-kun on TV I thought his dance was really cool and “I want to try dancing, too”. I was learning HipHop dance. Dancing is really fun. But there are still many difficult steps and I make mistakes sometimes. Practicing more, I want to become better. In school a fighting game between bears made of three pages of origami paper is popular right now. 4~5 friends would fight against each other, and the strongest bear will circle around for around 10 seconds while bumping into the others. I'm researching how to make even stronger bears that can circle around better! At home I'm called “Iori” and have a brother who is 6 years older than me. I'm bullied a lot and we fight, but I always loose. It's vexing!

Nagase Ren

I play soccer since elementary school 3rd grade, in middle school I'm in the soccer club as well. 3 months after entering middle school the practice of the soccer club is hard, but the senpais are friendly and I got used to it. Now days are filled with soccer, I'm aiming to play left-back. I admire Inter (Milano)'s Nagatomo Yuto. My parents and teacher tell me “You're too loud, you talk too much”. (laughs) In breaks I talk lively with friends about (computer) games. The dance practice for the summer stage shows has begun. I haven't danced before, so it might be more difficult than soccer. But when I give my best and become better I think I'll come to like it. The sempai are all really good at it, especially Kiriyama (Akito)-kun is great! I want to become like Kiriyama-kun!

Nishihata Daigo

In school I'm in the track and field club. In moments when the kohai loose focus we're into surprise attacks and tickling. I'm not at all a strict sempai, as far as to think “I guess I should get angry at them and be stricter”, but now is not the time to change that. At home I'm called “Daigo”! I have an two year older brother and we're good friends without fighting. In our family there's an air of ??, it's a family that can talk about everything with each other, I think. A while ago I was asked directions by a lady, and got candy as a reward and got told “Thanks, young lady”. I couldn't really say “I'm a boy”, the people around me were desperately suppressing laughter, it was so embarrassing.

Shiramoto Shota

I love baseball, I'm playing it since kindergarten. Because I'm in elementary school 6th grade now I'll retire from children baseball after the tournament in autumn, I'll give my best as to have no regrets. My strong point is doing sports! Of course there is baseball, all in all I'm doing pretty well I guess. With mat exercises I can do a cart wheel. I'd love to become able to do a back flip as well. A subject I don't like that much... is drawing and manual arts, I guess. I'm especially bad at drawing pictures. A subject I like is maths. In the lessons we're learning how to calculate the size of an circular area, it is interesting. Since I entered Johnnys I'm called “George” by everyone. Seemingly because I look like a monkey (laughs). I became quite good friends with all Johnnys Junior. From now on I'll give my best with the stage shows of course, but with everything else as well, so please cheer me on!

Masakado Yoshinori

In middle school I was in the baseball club, but I retired yesterday. It wasn't really a strong team, but I did everything I could. Since February this year I'm hooked on playing electric guitar. The longest would be 3 hours, I practice everyday, so I became able to play it a bit. Music I like is up-tempo rock style. I founded a rock band with friends and we can play at the school festival in June next year. The real practice didn't start yet, but we have to give our best to give a good performance. Today I'm practicing dances for the summer stage shows devotedly. Last year I wasn't in Jonnys yet so I didn't appear in them and haven't seen them either, it is hard to remember everything, but when I got it right at some points I'm happy and it is really fun!

It's not entirely my fault that the sentences are kind of noncoherent.... they were like that in Japanese, too xD
