Eep! A tour. Edward is curious as to how his employer goes about gardening and hopes to pick up some tips along the way, so he would like to take the tour.
Justin is happy to see Edward taking advantage of this situtaion. He leads the boy into the house, not minding those scissors of his because he knew they'd come in handy sooner or later. "Welcome, Edward. Something to drink? You must be parched." he askes nicely to the boy.
"I'd like some tea, if you have it ready, and erm...with a straw? For drinking convenience? Thanks" Edward smiles. "I think it's amazing you organize this tour, so we get a change to see some pretty gardens."
He hands the boy a cup of tea with a plastic straw in it, he's glad that Edward decided to take this opportunity; with those scissors of his, he could do lots as a gardener. "There's acres of garden out there, it never stops, I reckon." he sips his own tea, it slightly burns his mouth and he twitches.
This girl is someone new, and perhaps he'd be able to get her to join his classes. He rubs his hands and opens the front door, staring at her with a small smile, "Welcome, dear. Tea?" he directs her into the kitchen.
"Hello, Lana Lang. Thankyou very much!" he says in a chipper voice as he hands her a cup of hot tea, British made tea that is. He leans against the counter and sips his own tea, it burns his mouth so he flinches as it enters his mouth.
"Bloody exhausted, Maia. Thankyou for asking." he leans in and plants a kiss on her cheek like they do back home. He steps back and lets her in the house and into the kitchen, "Just was cooking something to eat. Hungry, love?"
Maia's cheek burns where his kiss was. "Oh yes if you don't mind me popping in like this." Maia smiles warmly. "I am sorry that your tired though. Not sleeping well?" Maia takes the plates and starts to set the table.
He shakes his head as he gets out all the ingrediants to what he's preparing, a nice plate of salad and chicken would do for today. Chinese chicken salad was his favorite, he just loved it. "I'm afraid not. Got something on my mind, is all." he turns his back to her and cuts up the strips of chicken.
