I do agree with your idea of equal oppotunities instead of equal rights, but the some of the ways you supported it were just a tad bit offensive. And the flintstone idea could have been removed entirely... it just made you look dumb.
Hmm, I agree mostly with the physical side of it, but not the mental side. I think women are just as intelligent as men. The modern world goes by looks, not intelligence and if you go through medical journals, scientific journals etc you can see that women are equal mentally to men, although men and womens minds work differently, that doesn't mean that women are therefore inferior to men ^^ (The fact you mentioned Jessica Simpson in that list offended me though, as its rather obvious that the article is biased as all articles are, with you selecting members of the female sex who 'prove' your point)
Of course, this is all just my own opinion, as the article is yours so I'm not trying to impose my feelings onto you, just stating what I think ^^
And isn't the point of writing to offend? If you can't write to challenge the beliefs, than why bother writing in the first place? (that was poorly stated, but I'd like to think you get the jist).
Women haven't produced very worthwhile things though. Men easily dominate the discovery field.
I do get the jist. Jessica Simpson just offends me...in her entirety XD
Depends on what view point you take it from I guess, now most discoveries are made by more than a single person so you'll obviously have women working towards those, and if you're talking about older work, then you have to take into account the social orders at the time, since a lot of the time women were either frowned upon or outright banned from working in medicine etc. so its not just a case of black and white, men dominate because they are better at it, there is a whole load of other factors to account for. I'm more of a literary person myself, so I tend to think more towards great female writers who challenged society like the Bronte sisters and Margaret Atwood rather than scientific discoveries. I think this could also be due to the fact that womens brains are generally more active on the right hemisphere, which leans towards creativity than to more rigid work such as science and maths.
I realize. Believe me, I'm not some prick that was like "LOL WOMEN SUCK FOR REALS." It seems that for every great female writer, there are at least 3 great male writers.
besides "nor could they not" it looks good. It goes against all feelings of tact i have, nor would i vocalize these things personally, but i find little flaw with your argument.
