It doesn't say how close the planet is to the star, which is relevant to the heating question. So I looked it up. Very close: about 3 million miles. (Mercury is about 30-40 million miles from the Sun, depending on where in its orbit it is.) Of all the "hot Jupiters", this may be the hottest.
