In British Columbia,Canada rates for health insurance:

Effective January 1, 2011, monthly rates are $60.50 for one person, $109.00 for a family of two and $121.00 for a family of three or more.

Not to mention the subsidies for those making less than $30,000 / yr.

I am trying to bite my tongue (or my fingers) to refrain from pointing out that there is not a town called Alberta in California. And failing.

More seriously, did you notice that your link is to the website of the province of British Columbia, not Alberta? Rather different political cultures they have.
