Pennsylvania will have to furlough 1,000 state workers if the legislature does not legalize table games at casinos by the end of this week, the governor and his secretary of administration said on Monday.

The local news says its basically a done deal with a target for getting the bill to Rendell by Friday. The only challenge is that there is a ton of more pressing stuff to do, and if someone gets a hair up the ass, it might not make it onto the agenda.
