Oh God, I just, this very moment, put two and two together and realised that since I vividly remember my brother reformatting his computer last week, and since I play Sims on that computer, that all my lovely Sim families are long gone. I don't think anyone has any real idea how long I spent on that game, but I will let you know that it took MONTHS

I feel so pathetic that it even means something to me, but hey, it was an awfully good hobby over the holidays.

Also, completely off-topic, but have you read tess of the d'urbervilles? Without having any knowledge of what the plot was, I figured it was about time I read it, what with it being a classic. I can now say it is probably the most depressing book I have ever read. Am I alone in this thought? I feel like I should read it again, so as to properly digest everything, but I don't think I could bear it.
