In the thirteen years I was in school (prior to college) we never had a snow day. Ever. District 58 (K-8) and 99 (9-12) had a rep for never closing. ...I am in a nightmare. This is my nightmare.

I've lost a piece of my childhood. The Cub Foods that I grew up with has closed. I didn't even know it was going to happen. I was just driving by, and it was gone. Research indicates that all the stores in Chicagoland are closing. How depressing.

It stuns me how over emotional some guys are. In my life, I've known several guys who are so in love from moment one. (Not with me.) And then the relationship ends and they are devestated because their one true love is gone. *squeal!* So much fun was had at the mall today. And though tasty, I'm not referring to the pretzel dog Greg bought me at the food court. *squeal!*

Now if only I wasn't so impatient.

Tonight proved to be another example of why the sign that hangs over the Stevenson advertising Metra is a joke. Poor Greg was delayed over two hours coming home from the city after lightning struck a signal box in DG. I finally ended up collecting him from Westmont. But we got food from Taco Express after, which was yummy. Love me some enchilada's.

Most people think I look very young. A high school kid hit on me the other day. He thought I was 18. Most people think my ID is fake. People think I'm lying when I tell them I'm 25.
