Thanks for comments.
I imagine there are many great places near you both restaurants and markets, plus all that great sea food.

I've seen those! I will try them.

Dragonfruit are my new favorite, I'm always looking for low carb fruits. I like these with some stevia or whatever sweetener, otherwise they might work in a salad. A drizzle of honey would be wonderful.

I still have a problem, about the seeds, these are so much bigger that ones in Dragonfruit. They are very hard also, so I don''t know if I should swallow them or spit them out.
The green ones I brought need to ripen for a few days, I think. Then, I am think of putting a couple pieces in a blender and see what happens.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Everything I am reading says the seeds are edible. Besides that, I'd try a little sweetener of some kind-- I don't think even when ripe they get very sweet.

Thanks, from what I understood, the green ones are sweeter, they red was sweet enough for me.
Will let you know when I cut them.
I tried growing a stevia plant. the leaves were amazingly sweet. It didn't do very well with the summer heat.
Have some seed, so will try to grow some inside the fall. I will mix them in salad or maybe with some fruit.
