This was fantastic. Subtle and sweet. I especially loved "Patrick had just shrugged, finding himself strangely unwilling to explain..."

Thank you! I thought about trying to work the concept into one of the other things I'm working on, but it was too self-contained. It carries with it such an individual feel of history and intimacy, and I adore that idea, but combined with others it just adds clutter.

Ahhhhh, thank you.

(Not my exchange fic, hooray! Um.)

(I haven't written A WORD on it this weekend. I'm getting a little worried.)

(Whatever, no pressure, right?)

(I have watched six hours of MCR on youtube, though. TIME WELL-SPENT, I SAY. WELL SPENT.)

Thank you! Oh, Pete and Patrick. I love them. I'm sure we'll talk about this.

Oh. Oh.

That was gorgeous. And I kind of want to send you this comment by carrier pigeon now.

Oh, thank you! I kind of want to receive it by carrier pigeon.

I wonder if Pete would have been a long-winded letter writer in another age. Probably not. Maybe he would have been a poet like Walt Whitman, all barely-veiled homoerotic references and poems about sex.
