Ooh, I really like this. I think I saw you comment somewhere about creating these characters this week and wanting to write more of them? In any case, I definitely think you should do that.

Thank you! Yes, I definitely want to write more with them. Their relationship is fascinating to me, and I want to explore that! Plus, female superhero - I'm addicted to 'em right now. ;)

This was really moving in a quiet way, also slightly creepy. Odd, but I was thinking of Al as Buffy the Vampire Slayer for some reason. Your character reminds me of her, and what she went through so much.

Thank you! Buffy is a really good likeness, actually -- there are physical similarities (Al is blonde and fit, at least), and they do go through some similar things.
