I don't know much about the early life of John Lennon, so I can't tell if this movie is "authentic" or not. What it is, in any case, is a touching and at times painful tale of a young man who's torn between the aunt who raised him, and the mother who's been absent for most of his life. This is old enough to go on the Antiques Roadshow. Damian’s first appearance as shady Kieran Thompson in “The Bill”, in a double episode back in 2003. He really only ever played soldiers and thugs back then!

The show was recorded on VHS and half of it was missing. I tried my best to improve the quality of the caps, but alas…

Prehistoric material (2007)! Andrew Buchan in a small role as Sean Knowles, corrupt twit, in an episode of "The Whistleblowers". It's about a company-funded school teaching creationism and all other sort of nonsense, throwing pupils who have problems or learning difficulties under the cart to keep their success rate high.

I wanted to watch part I of this mini-series first before recommending it. I hate WWII drama with the flaming passion of a thousand sunbeds; so little of it is done well. I freely admit I only gave "Laconia" a try because Andrew Buchan was in it, and I'd have switched the channel immediately if it had been rubbish.
