Seeing how Easter is just around the corner, a Fabergé egg might have been more suitable to turn up on the Antiques Roadshow, but I thought that you’ll be just as happy with Nelson’s teapot. And it’s the real thing!

Isn't it? That's one of the finest Nelson-pieces I've come across so far. Far more interesting than swords. And more useful, too!

What a lovely thing! I am always surprised by small the tea things were back then. And it looks as if it is in perfect condition.

That's very cute! I do like the idea of recycling French china :)

Incidentally, Robert Barlow is the younger brother of George Hilario Barlow who served as Acting Governor of India from 1805 - 1807, and whose daughter Eliza Harriet Barlow married Edward Pellew's eldest son Pownoll Bastard Pellew.
